A Conceptual design project looking at the future of materials in footwear design, using a moss that is fixed to the shoe, this design poses the question of what sustainable footwear design will look like in the future, will our textiles grow? Will they need to be watered and trimmed?

The moss is hand sewn into a two layer mesh, this painstaking process of making is slow, mimicking the speed of its growth in nature. This moss dormant, not dead, not alive, but between the two.
