Matthew Edwards
Matte or Matthew is an experimental designer working with the principles of Make Do and RE-IY, which focuses on designing with materials and processes that are relevant to the Global South and its shared sustainable future. Matthew is also the co-founder of Big Circle Studios, a not-for-profit research and design studio based in Johannesburg. Matthew is a Circular Design Pioneer with the Ellen Macarthur Foundation (2019) and has been partnering with Adidas South Africa to interprate sustainable shoes in the South African context.
